Recently our minister create intention saying that certain food belongs to Malaysian...... not true or dont know the right source.... i guess i better not comment on this. But what i like to do is to tell you where some of my favourite food come such as
Bak Kut Teh - From china
Pasta - Italian
Nasi Dagang - Kelantan / Terengganu ( depend on the rice)
Nasi Kerabu - Kelantan / Terengganu / siam ( depend on the condiment served)
Pecal - Indonesia
Papadom - Cracker from india
Keropok - Kelantan and terengganu
Jala Mas / Putih Telur and Buah Tanjong - kelantan
Akok - kelantan and terengganu
Sira Pisang - Known in kelantan
Laksa - Various places such as kelantan, penang, johor where johor is served with speghetti and the gravy mixed with curry sauce.
Tempoyak - Perakian
Rendang To' - Lavish Dried rendang and delicious taste
Sandwich - Normally can be found in European country
Hamburger - from germany
egg Benedict - if not mistaken is from France
Foie Gras - France
Pate / terrine - France
Sushi & sashimi - Japan
Tempura and teriyaki - japan
Nando's - Cape Town
Tapas - Cuban
Goucho - Argentinian
Passembor - penang
Roti Canai - originally from chennai India
many more and we all love it.
Each of the food has their own speciality and uniqueness. So are we mate.
I miss the cheese cake, lontong and curry ayam and my favourite food is Chinese food. Miss that so much. : I
